Dr. Cedric Bryant
Co-Founder, President & Chief Executive Officer

For over 20 years, Dr. Cedric Bryant has been a leader in developing confident leaders, teams, and organizations. Known for his ability to work across diverse settings, he is a sought-after executive strategist and organizational culture expert.
In healthcare consulting, Dr. Bryant has successfully guided organizations through challenges in strategic planning, operational efficiency, and quality improvement, resulting in improved patient outcomes and organizational performance.
His leadership philosophy focuses on transformational leadership, aiming to develop individuals and organizations for collective success.

Dr. Bryant is also the co-author of Leadership Practices: A Global and Spiritual Perspectives.

Dr. Widza Bryant (Board Member)

Dr. Widza Bryant is a Senior Leadership and Organizational Consultant at Temple University Health System, a strategic executive, and a certified master coach. She specializes in capacity-building strategies, leadership development, and change management to foster inclusive, high-performing workplace cultures. With a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University, an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Cairn University, and a BA in Liberal Studies from Rider University, she brings a strong academic foundation to her work.

With a global Human Resources background, she co-founded Bryant and Bryant Consulting LLC, providing practical solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness. She is also a co-founder of the Vladimir Bryant Foundation. 

Dr. Bryant holds multiple certifications, including Master Coaching, MBTI, EQi, DISC, and Leadership Development, and is the author of Leadership Practices: A Global and Spiritual Perspective.

Dr. Freeman Miller (Board Member)

Dr. Miller, a 1978 graduate of the University of Colorado Medical School, completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency in 1983 and a Pediatric Orthopedics fellowship at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children. He co-directed the Cerebral Palsy Program and served as Clinical Director of the Gait Analysis Laboratory at A.I. duPont Hospital for Children for 30 years. Now an emeritus staff member, he continues to provide consultative services and engage in research. Dr. Miller’s clinical focus is pediatric orthopedics for children with cerebral palsy. He has held adjunct professor roles at the University of Delaware for 25 years and is involved in its BIOMS biomedical engineering program, mentoring students. His research interests include surgical outcomes in CP, hip management, and spinal deformity. Dr. Miller has published 200+ articles, written books on cerebral palsy care, and has been invited to lecture in 35 countries.

Yvy Ruiz (Board Member)

Evelisse Ruiz is the Assistant Regional Vice President for a medical billing company, bringing over 25 years of industry experience to her role. With a deep understanding of medical billing processes and a proven track record of leadership, Evelisse ensures operational efficiency and excellence. Her extensive expertise and dedication have made her a respected leader who proves to consistently drive improvements and foster a collaborative work environment.

Amarilis Ruiz (Board Member)

Amarilis Ruiz is a dedicated college student double majoring in Sociology and Criminal Justice. With a strong academic foundation and a paralegal certification already under her belt, Amarilis plans to continue her legal education in law school, aiming to leverage her comprehensive background to drive meaningful change.

Vladimir Bryant (Board Member)

Vladimir is a passionate advocate for individuals with disabilities and an aspiring lawyer dedicated to creating meaningful change. Diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at the age of one, Vladimir has faced numerous challenges with resilience, determination, and an unwavering commitment to growth.  

As the namesake of the Vladimir Bryant Foundation, he continues to inspire others by championing the organization’s mission to support children with special needs. His advocacy stems from a deep desire to break barriers and ensure that individuals with disabilities have access to the opportunities and resources they deserve.  

Through his work with the foundation and his pursuit of a legal career, Vladimir is dedicated to shaping a future where every individual, regardless of ability, can thrive.

Ms. Betty Jane (Board Member)

Betty Jane is deeply committed to advancing the values and mission of the VBF and takes great pride in being a part of such a thriving organization.

As the Owner and Executive Director of Eleazer Care LLC, I am passionate about providing support to those navigating the end-of-life journey. In my role as a Clinician, Coach, and Advocate, I am honored to offer expertise that fosters problem-solving and comfort during this sacred time.

My son Dominic is 15 now, and my daughter Eden, at 22, is gracefully forging her own path and preparing for marriage.

Anthony Massaro (Board Member)

Anthony Massaro is an ordained pastor with a Master of Divinity (MDiv) and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry (DMin). Passionate about serving the Lord and advancing His work, Anthony provides pastoral guidance to the organization, bringing spiritual leadership and a deep heart for children to its mission. He is married to his beautiful wife, Melissa, and together they are blessed with four children, further inspiring his commitment to faith and service.
