In Haiti, children with disabilities face significant barriers to education, healthcare, and therapy. The lack of accessible infrastructure, affordable services, and societal support leaves many of these children without the resources they need to succeed and thrive.
Education: The Vladimir Bryant Foundation's Inclusive Education Program is dedicated to providing disenfranchised children with disabilities the opportunity to receive a quality education in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. We aim to break down barriers to education and create a space where "different" is celebrated and every child is empowered to succeed.
Adaptive Equipment: Our Adaptive Equipment Program is central to empowering children with disabilities to overcome barriers that may otherwise hinder their ability to fully engage in day-to-day life. We provide a wide range of custom-made equipment, designed specifically to assist children in accomplishing their daily activities. Every piece of adaptive equipment is intended to increase autonomy and encourage participation, allowing children to interact more fully with the world around them.
Parent support groups: Our Parent Support Group Program is central to our mission of breaking down barriers for children with disabilities in Haiti. It empowers families by dispelling harmful myths, such as the belief that disability is caused by a curse. Through workshops, support groups, and expert counseling, we provide families with the knowledge, resources, and emotional support to care for their children with confidence.
Early Intervention: Our Early Intervention Program aims to provide children with disabilities access to critical services as early as possible. By offering Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, education, adaptive equipment, and Parent Support Groups, we help children develop essential skills from the start. This early support enhances their potential for growth and integration, while empowering families to provide the care and advocacy their children need.
Speech Therapy: Our Speech Therapy Program at the Vladimir Bryant Foundation is dedicated to helping children improve their vocabulary, communication skills, and overall language development. This program focuses on addressing speech and language delays, enhancing children's ability to express themselves, and ensuring they can effectively communicate with peers, caregivers, and educators.
Physical Therapy: Our Physical Therapy Program at the Vladimir Bryant Foundation is designed to help children with impaired motor skills improve their movement, strength, and flexibility. By focusing on individualized therapy, we aim to enhance motor function, increase physical independence, and support overall development, empowering children to achieve their full physical potential.
Vladimir Bryant Foundation Sanctuary Program: The Sanctuary Program at the Vladimir Bryant Foundation provides a safe and loving home for children with disabilities who have been abandoned on the streets of Haiti. In a country where resources are scarce and children with disabilities often face stigma and neglect, this program offers a sanctuary—a place where these vulnerable children can find care, support, and a new chance at life.
At our Sanctuary, children receive everything they need to thrive, including nutritious food, round-the-clock care, and access to specialized therapies such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We ensure each child is outfitted with the appropriate assistive devices to help them engage more fully in daily life and reach their fullest potential. In addition to therapeutic services, children receive individualized education designed to meet their unique needs and empower them to learn and grow.
The Sanctuary Program is more than just a safe place—it is a loving environment where every child is treated with dignity, respect, and the belief that they deserve the opportunity to live a life full of possibility and hope
